My last minute change of plan gave me two full days in Burgos, one of the main stopovers planned for this trip, so I was looking forward to my time and having a poke around. I’d found an Airbnb place just behind the cathedral so was smack where the action is.
Not only is Burgos a beautiful city, I have managed to arrive the day before La Noche Blanca, the White Night, which celebrates all things cultural, but mainly musical, it seems, that the city has to offer. Much of what went on was punctuated by heavy down pours, unfortunately.
So rather than repeat what you can find elsewhere regarding this lovely place. Here is a little “photo essay” on Burgos.
