I’ve been blogging for a while now. The Archive list will soon need editing. This space, the home of the SingleMaltMonkey, has become something of a potpourri. A place for rants and raves, political comment, a little humour once in a while, and a launch pad for a few creative ideas and finished projects.
And, so, friends, I have decided that it requires a little refinement and focus. The SingleMaltMonkey will still have something to say on matters that provoke the grey matter but from now on all my creative stuff – the occassional and sometimes regular droppings from a “straining for expression” mind –Â will be found over at Cap Fenn.
I hope you’ll sign up and join me there too.
I find blog distinction an extremely good idea. There are far more of us multi-bloggers out there than would appear obvious at first glance.
Yes, I’ve been picking that up from bloggers such as yourself, RSITM. I reckoned the time had come.
All it means is that we write differently on separate blogs. If people follow all of them fine. But I appreciate that not everyone wants to read about Land Rovers/my dog/feminism, vegetarianism and all my other isms, or see photos of my past travels.
And it would make for such a cluttered mish mash of a blog that I couldn’t realistically manage it 😀
Either way, good luck with it. (not that I will be commenting on dead fish being a right-on vegetarian :D)
I’ve been thinking of splitting my blogs.. one for my “personal/me” posts and the other for my “what’s new in the world” posts.. I followed Cap Fenn 🙂
Thanks Lynne. It’s appreciated.
Hmmm, intriguing. 🙂
I can’t imagine splitting my blogs just because I feel I’d get too confused! It’s enough trouble dealing with my flickr and Twitter and all that other stuff too. ;b Can’t wait to see what you do with yours, though. 🙂
Ah, well you see, I don’t Tweet or flick so I’ve time on my hands. 🙂
This is a great idea, and inspiration for me to take a look at my blog for changes, editing etc. I’ve been over to Cap Fenn and like it very much. I signed up to follow and am looking forward to your posts there.
Thanks for your support, Lynn. It’s appreciated.
