  1. I read Levon Helm’s autobiography in the ’90s and found it riveting. He’s one of my favorites. I said on someone else’s blog that we forget that dying isn’t always the worst thing. He isn’t in pain anymore and we still have the sound of his voice and the sight of him on film. That’s something.
