The “Playing for Change” Foundation, based in LA, do some stirling work across the globe bringing people together through music. 
I can do nothing more than to recommend that you check out the fine work that they do. Once in a while they publicise their work by getting musicians around the world to contribute to one particular song and then mixing the final recording into one sublime global interpretation. The latest episode is a version of Bob Marley’s ” Redemption Song”…..
